Mother's Day

This week we have been working on our mother's day projects! In the class we made mother's day pictures that the students really enjoyed making. To complete the project first students colored the picture of the kid and added scenery to the picture.

Then they wrote a sentence to their mom on the line. It was exciting because students wanted to write it on their own without any help!

Finally I cut out pictures of my students and glued them on the student's picture. Next I matted them on pink card stock. These projects came out great! Below are some pictures of the student's work, I put big googly eyes on them  just to cover their faces. Don't worry they were not sent home with the googley eyes!
